The Montvale Library
reserves the right to cancel any appointment at any time for any reason.
Exams must be scheduled at
least week in advance. Because of scheduling
issues, the Library cannot proctor exams on short notice. Proctoring is
done Tuesday through Thursday between the hours of 10:00a.m. and 4:00p.m. Please be aware that scheduling is
at the Library staff’s convenience and that it is the student’s
responsibility to schedule all exams well in advance of any course
deadlines. The Montvale Library assumes no responsibility for this or
any other issues pertaining to the student’s academic career.
Tardiness. Students must show up on
time. In cases of emergency, students need to call and notify the
library that they will be late. Students more than a ½ hour late
automatically forfeit their sessions and must reschedule. The Montvale
Library reserves the right to suspend the proctoring privileges of
students who are more than a ½ hour late three times.
Student cancellations. Students needing to cancel
their proctoring session must give the Library 24 hours’ notice. The
Montvale Library is aware that emergencies do occur and sometimes 24
hours’ notice cannot be given; however, the Montvale Library reserves
the right to suspend the proctoring privileges of students who cancel
their appointments on less than 24 hours’ notice three times.
Bring identification. Students must bring
acceptable photographic identification. Examples of acceptable
photographic identification include, but are not limited to, a current
driver’s license, passport and school I.D. If a substitute shows up for
the student’s exam, the student forfeits all proctoring privileges
permanently. In addition, the Montvale Library will contact the
appropriate school authorities.
Do not cheat. Cheating will result in
immediate termination of the student’s proctoring session. The student
