The Montvale
Library is currently assisting with
the Senior Girl Scout Gold
Award project of Montvale resident Danielle
Davies.
Danielle, who
is a junior at Pascack Hills High School,
is collecting for the Gilda’s Club in Hackensack
and seeks
donations of office supplies such as copy paper, staples, #10 envelopes,
paper/binder clips, and scotch tape;
kitchen and bathroom supplies such as
paper products,
plastic utensils, children’s snacks, sponges and soaps, and
tea;
and general clubhouse use items such as yoga blankets, canvases
and canvas
paper, sketch pads, acrylic paints and art supplies.
These items may be handed to the Library's staff
at the circulation desk now through early January 2009.
As part of her project, Danielle will also visit younger Girl Scout
troops in the Tri-boro area to tell them the basics
about different types of cancer and how they can protect themselves.
