The Montvale Free Public Library Board of Trustees
prefers that gifts to the Library be made in the form of cash
donations. While the Board will acknowledge a donor's wishes for
the use of a donation--wherever possible and practical--it reserves the
right to make the final determination for the use of any donation
received.
Donations of library materials (i.e., books,
compact discs, videos, and dvds) are covered under Section VI of The
Montvale Free Public Library's Collection Development Policy.
Gifts of other types of material (e.g., paintings, sculpture,
personal computers, etc.) must be approved by the Library Board of
Trustees.
