The Montvale Library charges the following non-refundable fines for overdue
items belonging to the Montvale Library:

OVERDUE ITEMS: All items are 10¢ per day per barcode. The maximum fine is $5.00 per barcode.

Other non-refundable fines are charged as follows:

    MISSING CD POUCH: 75¢
    MISSING CD JEWEL BOX FROM READALONG: $5.00
    MISSING CD JEWEL BOX FROM MUSIC CD: $10.00
    MISSING AUDIO-CASSETTE BOX: 50¢
    MISSING READ-ALONG BAG: $5.00
     DVD/VIDEO LEFT IN BOOK DROP: $2.00
    DAMAGED, DESTROYED, OR MISSING DVD BOX: $10.00
    REPLACEMENT COST FOR LOST LIBRARY CARD: $2.00

Fines for items checked out from other libraries:

The computer system calculates fines based on the policy of the library that
owns the item, NOT on where the item was returned.
We will collect these fines exactly as posted.
